Friendly, personable and classy, that is how I would describe working with Keel Godwin, OD, optometrist and owner of Midtown Optometry. When she reached out looking for logo design for her new practice, she desired to have upscale and polished yet friendly optometry clinic branding that would fit right into the urban technology hub in which her new practice would be located in. The clinic location is positioned within the well-known Midtown community in Raleigh, North Carolina.
With this focus, the process included exploration of a balance of science and personal care. The mark, derived from M, O, T & W letterforms, symbolizes symmetry and motion. Rounded type offers both friendly and welcoming appeal without losing professional integrity. Soothing tones are balanced with light grey and white for a modern feel that isn’t stark and supports the balanced blend of the high-tech and high-touch care provided to patients.
